Since this is my first post, I had a hard time thinking of what to post. I was just so excited to create my own blog after how many months of wondering what it's like to have my own blog with or without bloggers and "non-bloggers" to read my stuff. Haha, so redundant!
Anyway, I end up deciding to post my pre-debut photoshoot last year and some debut pictures. All the photos were taken by my sister's close friend, John Carlo Larida whom we call Puss. I had a rock star theme because I think it's too hardcore and the fact that most 18th birthdays have common themes such as fairy tale or princess-like or whatsoever more that sounds too girly, and I wanted to be unique and have my debut celebrated differently.
Although I had this shoot and everything else planned, my debut was a fail. Everything was an opposite of what I planned because I was too late in preparing it and my mom and I had a very big fight over where the venue would be. The big plans and usual Filipino debut party I had in mind and have wished for since I was a young girl ended up in a small outdoor restaurant of my mom's highschool best friend, tita Michelle and her husband tito Marcel, who was the chef by the way. It was at Gabbie's on Obrero St., Davao City. I invited my close friends SMS a few days before March 3, 2012. Plus! I bought my dress at the last minute at Mags. I haven't even had my hair and make-up done because I was busy the whole day. Haha, my debut was such an out-of-plan and at first I felt really bad because I thought it's gonna be a whole mess but it ended up pretty well for me. So much for the talking. =)
P.S two important things I honestly forgot on my birthday, CAKE AND LECHON. hahahaha -_-
